Sandown Holiday Park is an often-overlooked hidden gem of a location, situated in Yaverland, at the far end of Sandown Bay, where the long rows of wooden groynes, where the beach opens up to vast areas of unspoilt sand. There is easy access to the coastal path along the cliff top and towards the beach and also up to Culver Down. There’s even a pub at the top!
Location
The sandy beaches of Sandown Bay are within easy walking distance, as are popular attractions along the seafront, such as Sandown Zoo, Dinosaur Isle and the new crazy golf course and playground at Sandham.
There are some excellent bars and restaurants along the seafront, all with great sea views and a walking distance from the Chalet, so you can leave the car behind.
